Please read these Terms carefully before using the StreamBuddy platform. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By downloading, installing, activating, or using the StreamBuddy software or platform (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and ModMinds (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company operating under the StreamBuddy brand.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
ModMinds develops and distributes StreamBuddy, an AI-powered stream companion application (“Software”) designed for live content creators. StreamBuddy reads live chat messages and responds using a locally-run AI model and text-to-speech voices already available on the User’s device — no cloud API required for core functionality.
Premium features — including direct voice interaction with the AI via microphone and additional capabilities released over time — are available as optional paid add-ons or subscription upgrades through the StreamBuddy platform.
The Service is provided “as-is” for personal and content creation use only. ModMinds reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.
Subject to these Terms, ModMinds grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use StreamBuddy on your personal device(s) for lawful personal or content creation purposes.
Every copy of StreamBuddy requires a valid, unique serial key (“License Key”) to activate and operate. License Keys are issued by ModMinds at the time of purchase or distribution. You may not use, share, or distribute a License Key that was not legitimately issued to you. Attempting to use invalid, forged, or unlicensed keys is a violation of these Terms and may constitute fraud.
Each License Key permits one (1) active installation at a time, tied to a single user account and device. You may not activate the same License Key on multiple devices simultaneously. If you need to move your license to a new device, you must request a reactivation as described below.
If you need to reactivate StreamBuddy — for example, due to a hardware change, reinstallation, or system migration — you may request a reactivation by emailing support@modminds.gg with your License Key and account details.
Each License Key is allocated three (3) reactivation credits. Once all three credits are used, the counter resets automatically, restoring a fresh allocation of three (3) credits. Reactivation requests are typically processed within 1–3 business days. ModMinds reserves the right to deny requests that appear to involve unauthorized transfers, fraud, or abuse.
You may not: (a) sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, or assign your License Key or the Software to any third party; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; (c) modify or create derivative works of the Software; (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Software; (e) use the Software for commercial purposes beyond your own content creation without prior written consent from ModMinds.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You agree not to share your credentials with others. Notify us immediately at support@modminds.gg if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Certain features of StreamBuddy require payment. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. By purchasing a license, subscription, or add-on, you authorize ModMinds to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
Optional monthly plans (for updates and advanced support) renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Your bot continues to function after cancellation — updates and advanced support simply pause until you resubscribe.
All purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund due to a technical defect or failure of the Service, contact us at support@modminds.gg within 7 days of purchase.
ModMinds reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and apply to subsequent billing periods only.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are solely responsible for all content generated, streamed, or distributed using the Service.
You may not:
StreamBuddy, the ModMinds name and logo, and all associated software, graphics, text, and materials are the exclusive intellectual property of ModMinds, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service or ModMinds’s intellectual property beyond the limited license described in Section 3.
You retain ownership of any original content you create while using the Service. By using the Service, you grant ModMinds a limited, non-exclusive license to use your feedback, testimonials, and stream clips for marketing purposes, unless you opt out by contacting support@modminds.gg.
StreamBuddy is designed to run its AI processing locally on your device — your chat data and voice interactions are not transmitted to ModMinds’s servers during normal operation of the base product.
Account information, license validation data, and payment information may be collected and processed as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
MODMINDS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, THAT IT WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR DEVICE OR STREAMING PLATFORM, OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MODMINDS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL MODMINDS’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MODMINDS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
ModMinds may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that ModMinds reasonably believes is harmful to users, the Service, or third parties.
You may terminate your account and stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by law.
Upon termination, your License Key will be deactivated and your right to use the Software will immediately cease. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 12 of these Terms survive termination.
ModMinds reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which ModMinds is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
